Composition
Each vial contains: Cefotaxime (as sodium) 2.6 gm.
Target species
Poultry, Cattle, Equine and Camel.
Packaging
Glass vial of 2.6 gm cefotaxime base.
Indications
1. Cattle, camels and Equines.
- Treatment of mastitis, endometritis and urinary tract infection.
- Treatment of pneumonia in calves and foals.
- Treatment of enteritis and diarrhea duo to E. coli, salmonella and clostridia.
- Treatment of skin infection and foot rot in cattle and equines.
- Treatment of encephalitis and meningitis in all animals.
2. Poultry
- Enteritis & diarrhea duo to E. coli & salmonella.
- chronic respiratory diseases (CRD).
- Fowel cholera (Pasteurella multocida)
Dosage and administration
Poultry - Turkey | (4-5) mg/kg of live weight | For birds (intramuscular injection - subcutaneous injection) injection for 2 days. |
Dosage for day-old chicks | (3-5) mg/chick | For intramuscular injection - subcutaneous. |
Large animals | (10-15) mg/kg of animal weight for 3 days. |
